I have tried to resolve a yellow exclamation icon in device mgr, pertaining to other devices/pci serial port. I have a Dell OptiPlex 755 running Win 7 32 bit. The missing driver has the attributes in the details/ hardware ids of the device of PCI VEN_8086&DEV_29B7&SUBSYS_02111028&REV_02 I have run the DELL diagnostic tool and also inserted my service tag number. ![]() ![]() I am setting up a Optiplex 790 with windows xp sp3 and am having trouble finding a driver. The tool diagnosed 3 chipset drivers to update, I downloaded and installed these, rebooted, but the same thing happens. I also went and uninstalled the 'device', but on reboot it installs it again, but neither windows or online can find the device. In device/resources.it says pci serial port resource settings This device isn't using any resources because it has a problem. I have searched online for a driver, but my anti virus tell/warns me they contain malaware and/or to get the driver, you have to install a number of other unwanted programs to do so.
